DISCHARGE MEDICATION REVIEW

As an additional service for our patients, we are able to offer important NHS hospital discharge medication review.

This allows us to review the changes made by the hospital, from your hospital discharge note and note down any changes that need to be made to your current medication.

This contributes to a reduction in medication errors and any adverse drug events, helping to improve patient safety following your discharge from a care setting.

This also improves communication between healthcare professionals and others involved in the transfer of patient care.

We are able to offer free NHS flu vaccinations (NHS criteria applies) ask in store for details.

A private flu vaccination service is also available, ask in store for details.

The flu vaccine does not give you flu, as it is an inactive form of the virus and can take between 14-21 days after vaccination, to offer immunity.

Although not 100% effective, it reduces the risk of developing severe complications if you contract flu.
